Neon Reaper is Velvet Voltage’s deliberate pivot into classic 1990s thrash and speed metal, retaining a light EDM edge from earlier records. Drawing structural and thematic inspiration from Judas Priest’s Painkiller, the nine tracks are entirely original in both music and lyrics. Each song stands alone; this is not a continuous-lore concept album.
