Velvet Voltage follows a single consciousness named Velvet as she moves through the Power Web — a vast electrified network that contains, processes, and repurposes human energy. The project shifts between neon cyber-pop, industrial intensity, and sharper metal-edged material while remaining rooted in electronic production. The debut Use Me and Lose Me rewires a classic dangerous rock structure into neon-soaked dance tracks. Ride the Voltage marks the first full descent into the Power Web itself, tracing Velvet’s transformation from confined subject to something far less human. Later releases expand the same world: Neon Justice for None pushes deeper into the Datastream, while Neon Reaper pivots into thrash and speed metal while retaining the residual electronic charge that defines the project. Deep lore exists for those who want to follow it. The music stands on its own either way.
